Rare Front Stbd close-cropped image of new TAA A300B4-203 VH-TAE Cn 218 (Del: 01Dec1983), at Brisbane Domestic Terminal in 1984. This was the fifth and last A300 acquired by TAA. The new Containerised Baggage System (in foreground) simplified baggage loading/unloading, and reduced 'turn-around' times. The aircraft, named 'John Fawkner', is in the then new TAA 'Hockey Stick' (orange/blue stripe) livery. She was formerly Airbus Industrie F-WZMZ, First flight 29Oct1982. I flew in VH-TAE from SYD to BNE (1.0 hrs) on 24Dec1986 (then with Australian Airlines). Low res photo.
