This Night shot is dedicated to Mr. Alan Cordina. I know he loves to see these Russian beauties such as this one. Night shooting in cold weather but worth all the hassle. This old cargo hauler is resting at Apron 4. A little bit of info on this lovely craft. This is an Antonov AN-12B version. Basically it is an Antonov AN-12 Basic model with additional fuel capacity. What's most interesting is that this aircraft model has a TG-16 APU on the left hand side.

Thanks Buz ! .... I see you know me well. I regularly spend quite some time browsing the database to look for and view ex.Soviet design aircraft. The uglier, rustyer and crudely designed they are, the more beautiful I see them ! Night photos in the bitter cold, I can only congratulate you. I don't think I may do it myself :)
