Between 1947 and 1949 Venezuela received from the USAF up to 15 B-25J's, besides 9 units acquired in 1969 from the Canadian Air Force. After being used in protecting our borders and in Anti-Guerrilla operations, the B-25s were retired in 1973 and replaced by OV-10 Broncos. Currently, this model stands as a Gate Guard at Vicente Landaeta Gil Air Base.
