Notes:

An RAF Hercules from the Lyneham Wing is seen here landing in driving rain on the Friday before the cancelled RIAT weekend. This is one of the original fleet and entered service in 1967; it was subsequently stretched and given a refuelling probe by Marshalls of Cambridge, maintenance contractors for almost the entire life of the aircraft. (400D; Sigma 80-400@199mm; fluid-head tripod; 100th sec exposure; stabilization switched off)
