The arrival of this USAFE KC-135 was one of relatively few movements during this year s RIAT. This example entered service just 13 years after the end of WW2 - it is 51 years since the type entered service and throughout that period they have been periodic visitors to Fairford, initially in support of B-47 and B-52 deployments.
