Departing Hong Kong for the very last time, CX3330 departs non-stop for Victorville California where likely the aircraft will be broken up. This aircraft started life with Varig after Libyan Arab Airlines did not take the aircraft up. From there it joined the Air Hong Kong fleet before joining Cathay when the airline was taken over. Painted all white it flew charters for the RAF during the Iraq war before ending up in Cathay colours, then Cathay's silver bullet colours. This departure also marks the retirement of the GE powered 747-200s in the fleet.
