Originally built for the USAAF in 1945 as a Douglas C–47B–30DK and allocated the serial 44-76552. Cn amended due to inadvertent duplication. Shipped immediately to Australia and taken on RAAF charge as A65-91 on 6 April 1945. Served with the RAAF until 15 Jan 1986 when sold to Golden West Airways. Registered VH-TMQ 28 Aug 1988 to Collbrina Transport, but left to deteriorate at Essendon Airport. Acquired by Air Nostalgia 1 July 1996 and restored - first flight 31 March 2000.
