Quite a rare aircraft visiting Manchester but by looking at it, you might wonder why? It is in fact a -100 variant of the A320, the main difference being that the -100 didn't have winglets. Only 21 were ever produced before the -200 variant replaced it. And today only 11 are still in active service of which most will be withdrawn from service within 2 years.
