The wreck of G-BKPU after it had been recovered to Barton Airfield in 1988. The aircraft had lost oil on approach and the windscreen was covered. the pilot could not see and landed on an adjacent motorway. The aircraft collided with a Citroen 2CV car. The pilot was unhurt, but the car occupants were seriously injured.
