Rare view of RAAF 36 Squadron C-130A A97-216 Cn 182-3216 at Mount Hagen Airport (TPNG) on 26Mar1975. The Herc was to carry a Bell 206B-1 helicopter (A17-021) to Port Moresby, and Laverton Victoria, after completion of Tropical Performance Trials. Locals refused to assist with the loading of the Bell 206B-1 into the C-130 rear cargo door! (Assisting the 'Birth of a Baby Balus' was OK. Putting the 'Baby Balus' back was Not OK!).
