RAAF C-130H A97-008 taxies past at the Defence Airshow at Amberley in Oct 2008. The Herc, now operated by 37 Sqn, wears a Commemorative logo on her tail, marking 50 years of (accident-free) Hercules operations since C-130A A97-205 was delivered to 36 Sqn in Dec 1958. (I also photographed A97-008 leading a line of eight Hercules taxying out for a Formation Flypast at the Australian Bi-Centennial Airshow at RAAF Richmond in Oct 1988.) Low res photo.
