'Ansett' Fokker 50 VH-FNF Cn 20111 awaits passengers on the Canberra Airport apron, for another short hop to Sydney on 13Aug1989. In the background are RAAF 34 Sqn BAC-111s (A12-124 and A12-125) and VIP HS748s A10-595 and A10-596), plus Squirrel training helicopters at RAAF Fairbairn. I was booked on Ansett F-50s four times before I flew in one. Flights with low bookings were frequently cancelled. Ansett was the world's first operator of F-50s.
