350 Fighter Squadron is based at Florennes but traces its history back to 1941 when it was formed here at RAF Valley and originally provided air support for Atlantic convoys before serving elsewhere in the European theatre. The special scheme shows the Gaulic warrior Ambiorix on a background depicting The Matrix. I guess this symbolises the fusion of the ancient and modern fighting spirit, but then I am not an art crtitic! A great privilege to see this aircraft here on this day.
