Rare (low res) wing view photo of Taipei's Chiang Kai Shek (RCTP / CKS) Airport on 11Oct1981. Photo taken from Cathay Pacific TriStar VR-HHV, departing RCTP on a 2.0 hour trip to Osaka Japan. (A vapour trail is streaming from the wingtip at top-left, and a DC-10 and Boeing 747SP are at the terminal.) My holiday visit co-incided with the 70th Anniversary of the founding of Formosa/ Taiwan in 1911. (The 70th Birthday is the most significant in Chinese culture.) Apologies for the quality of this 1981 photo. High humidity caused window fogging.
