Lightning strikes the Rocky Mountains in the distance (waited 4h for a thunderstorm to come through)

Daytime lightning is extremely difficult to catch, since I can't do long exposures, I sat there with finger on the button ready to press the moment I see lightning and caught this rather faint but tall and close strike looking south at Concourse A, with various aircraft on the ramp

Had a nice overview of the airport just after a 17R departure headed for Seattle

The Triple 7-200 arrived on a beautiful evening
