Qantas Airways First ever Boeing 747 VH-EBA Cn 20009 (Named 'City of Canberra') being towed in front of a Qantas Jet Base hangar opposite the Mascot Domestic Terminal on 07Jan1983. The aircraft is in original livery, with the 'Winged Kangaroo' on the tail. The 1982 Commonwealth Games logo is on the rear fuselage, with the text: 'Official Carrier XII Commonwealth Games Brisbane 1982'. This aircraft was delivered to Qantas on 30Jul1971, and sold to Guinness Peat Aviation as 4R-ULF on 08Jun1984. Then she was leased to Air Lanka as 'King Ijijawa' until 31Aug1986.
