A rare front view of TAA Vickers Viscount 816 VH-TVQ Cn 434 (Named 'McDouall Stuart'), on final approach to Melbourne's Essendon Airport YMEN in Dec 1968. The aircraft is not leaving smoke trails like the early model Boeing 727s and DC-9s did. My first flight in a TAA Viscount was in VH-TVQ from Canberra to Essendon on 24Apr1969. Low res photo.
