Rare 1967 under-side view of near-new TAA DC-9-31 VH-TJL Cn 47009, (Named 'Angus McMillan', Del: Aug1967) climbing out from Melbourne's Essendon Airport YMEN in Dec 1967. The flaps and slats are still out, but the wheels have been retracted. My first flight in a TAA DC-9 was in VH-TJP from Mascot Sydney to Essendon on 28Apr1970. Apologies for quality of this 1967 photo.
