Notes:

As the sun sets over the hills, the silouette of an A320 against the pink sky in a very steep right bank appears in the distance, you can't help but watch in awe as it skims the hill-tops with the jetwash blurring all the lights behind it as it quickly levels out to line up with the centerline, then in a matter of seconds the roar of its CFM engines fill your ears as it passes overhead...all is quiet as you watch it gently and gracefully touch down...until you hear the whipping winds of the Wingtip Vortices. The Circle-to-Land 1R approach is something that needs to be witnessed to be appreciated.

Never saw this photo before, but I am on this exact airplane right now headed to JFK and thought I might look up some photos of her. Great shot Chasen!
