Unfortunately, this is the norm on United Express flights so I just wanted to grab a photo and get out of there before he changed his mind.

That's a great pity, because when I was a Captain flying 747s in the 1980s I did all that I could to make visits to my flight deck a pleasant event. We used to even back then let the visitor sit behind me in the jump seat and look out of the window while we were flying over Iceland on the way to New York. How times have changed now and not for the better either. Great Pic though.
