Notes:

Unusual tow vehicle for a WWII German aircraft. The Klemm KL35d was a primary trainer used by the German and the Sweedish air forces during the war. She is of mixed construction using wood and steel tubing coverd in fabric. Origionaly she was fitted with a tail skid but is now fitted with a tail wheel. This example was built in 1941 and saw service with the Sweedish air force during the war. She is now owned by Peter Holloway and based here at Old Warden. She made her first post restoration flight at the last airshow of the year. There are about 12 survivng KL35ds, all apart from this one in Germany and Sweeden. I believe there is only 2 other flying examples, both in Germany. Strangely enough this aircraft is actualy still supported by Airbus.
