Notes:

This North American T-28C Trojan was delivered to the U.S. Navy as BuNo 140666 (c/n 226-243) in 1956. It was pulled from storage at the Military Aircraft Storage and Disposition Center on November 17, 1978. It was registered N9022N and assigned to County Civil Defense at Jefferson City, Missouri. It was transferred to the Civil Defense Council at Greenwood, Missouri in 1984. Robert L. Waltrip and the Lone Star Flight Museum of Houston, Texas acquired it in 1986 and sold it to Louis E. Fischer of Kissimmee, Florida in 1989. Sherman Aircraft Sales of West Palm Beach, Florida bought it in May 1989 and sold it to Joel C. Hilgenberg of New Orleans, Louisiana in 1992. It carries the insignia of the South Vietnamese Air Force. FAA says it is now privately owned in Kingman, Arizona. Seen here at Aviation Nation 2007.
