Notes:

This 1979 180K is registered to Southern Aircraft Consultancy of St Just, Cornwall, and is seen landing at Shobden at the end of the Royal Aero Club’s Beverley Snook Memorial Trophy handicap air race, having been entered by Howard Savage-Jones. The prop noise from the 230hp 7.7 litre O-470 in fine pitch made it sound like a Harvard. Grateful thanks to Jim Wesson, to the Clerk of the Course and to the Shobden officials who allowed me across the active runway to photograph the event.
