Notes:

The Albatros was developed to replace the L-29 Delfin and was the first second- generation jet trainer. It was also the first jet trainer to use a turbofan engine. An evolved version, the L-139, is still in production after 39 years. This one was built in 1968, the first year of production. Following military service it entered the Estonian register as ES-ZLB; it is now owned by Colin Butt of Broxton, Cheshire. It is seen here arriving at Fairfors for RIAT. (400D, Sigma 80-400 & fluid-head tripod)
