This bird, caught here with the last rays of sun of that day, had an almost fatal incident near two months later this photo was taken also in this airport, in August 19th..... while on takeoff run engine No2 (seen in this pic) caught fire and a/c had to abort take off and make an emergency braking....... if engine had burst only ten seconds seconds later, plane would have surpassed V1.......... it´s the second major incident of MAP birds in the Canary Islands in a short period of time, only three moths after OE-LMN serious incident in Lanzarote, also flying on behalf of Air Comet.
