One of bmi’s thirteen Aberdeen-based ERJ-145s seen commencing its take-off run on Runway 05 at Glasgow. This was bmi’s first ERJ, delivered new in June 1999. bmi Regional claims to be the only regional airline to operate an all-jet fleet. Its ERJs link Glasgow with Copenhagen, Leeds and Manchester. The ERJ-145s carry 49 passengers and cruise at 37,000ft at 430 knots. The company also operates three of the shorter 37-passenger 135s. (400D, anti-shake Sigma 80-400 & fluid-head tripod)
