Delivered to Pan American on March 16, 1935, the airplane has been meticulously restored as TWA's first DC-2, NC13711. Seen here is a typical smokey start-up for her return flight to Van Nuys, the site of her final restoration prior to being delivered to Seattle and her new home in the Museum of Flight at Boeing Field.
