It seems all of the airports in Indonesia have a junkyard of old retired planes and Surabaya is no different. Here outside the merpati hangar is a significant part of their fleet, many of which will never fly again. I was surprised to see even a Fokker100 missing parts as I don't perceive that as being an old aircraft.
