Notes:

The B-24D on display in the museum flew combat missions from North Africa in 1943-44 with the 512th Bomb squadron. In less than 9 months, this Liberator flew 59 combat missions, receiving damage from flak or enemy aircraft on at least 9 of them. The liberator had an excellent range, which made it particularly suited for long over-water missions (e.g. in the Pacific Theater).
