Built as a WV-2 for the US Navy in August 56, serving with various US Navy units until its retirement to Davis Monthan in March 78. It was given to the Aerospace Museum of California April 83. It is painted as "53-0552" in honour of the 552nd Airborne Early Warning and Control Wing which was stationed at McClellan from 1953 to 1977.
