ThisDC-3A is the gate guard for the now closed Air Transport Command Restaurant along Route 13 n the perimeter KILG. The aircraft is in poor condition and has suffered damage from a vehicle strike, which removed the left engine and a wing. The good news is that it has been sold and ounce a little work on the engine and rudder has been reinstalled by the Dalcastle Tech High Schools Aviation Tech program, it will be going to a museum in DE.
