"Snifter" (Del 2/48) the magnificent "Stang" pictured making a spectacular sunset departure off Rwy 12 at the Queensland Vintage Aeroplane Group's "Festival of Flight 2006". This aircraft was delivered new to the RAAF in 1948 as A68-110 but now wears the markings of A68-769. A beatifully maintained warbird that makes one heck of a sweet sound as it roars by. This is my favourite shot from the weekend trip to Watts Bridge.
