Overview of the Hajj terminal. Like at most major Saudi airports the future demand is taken into account. The part at the top of the picture is currently used and the part at the bottom isn't and seem to have been built for future demand. The photo was taken towards the end of the Hajj season, hence the apron isn't that busy. Under these huge tent like structures, there are multi storey buildings. Thsi is also reported to be the biggest covered area in the world.
