ex Air Force# 41-7630. Crash landed on Greenland 9/15/1942 (crew rescued) and was buried in ice for 50 years. Recovered and restored between 1992 and 2002 to its exact original condition and named "Glacier Girl". One of a very few P-38's still flying, this is a very rare aircraft. 2005 Airventure Award winner: Grand Champion, World War 2. Owner: J. Roy Shoffner, Middlesboro KY.
