A little bit of history for me as this was the first aviation photo I ever took. It was taken as an eight year old returning to Adelaide on holiday for the first time after moving to the UK. I had just arrived on this very aircraft from Singapore. The 742 was delivered to Qantas on the 10th August 1973 and flew with them until 1986 where it ended up in the US flying for People Express, Tower Air and Continental. It last flew with Continental Micronesia as N14024, ending up in storage in MHV, where without knowing I saw the very same aircraft on my MHV tour in July 2004. If only i'd known at the time!
