This F4 Phantom is parked at the Aviation Museum of Kentucky at KLEX. This supersonic jet was flown by the US Navy. When this plane was retired, it had Kentucky Governor Ernie Fletcher's name painted under the cockpit canopy. Fletcher did fly in Vietnam, but he was in the US Air Force, not the Navy. I guess it was a small oversight.
