Notes:

Normally, in the summer, Continental's daily Newark flight is operated by a 737-700. High loads this Saturday caused an equipment change to a 757-200, however, and the result is seen buzzing Maho Beach just seconds from touchdown.

Chris, Wonderful images of ST. Maarten. I just returned myself in May and hope to have some of my images added soon. The Continental 757 is the normal aircraft type for Saturdays. I was talking to a Continental pilot at the Sonesta Maho Beach hotel and he indicated that the plum for pilots is to fly the Friday 737 flight as they then get 48 hrs at the Sonesta before flying the Sunday departure back to Newark, since the Saturday flight is a different aircraft type. Other days the 737 pilots get only 24 hr layover. Keep adding the great images. I keep checking them out and longing for my next trip. Trevor Ogle
