JAL1864 KOJ-HND. On JAL domestic flights, if you pay 1000 yen at check in and if there are seats available, you can be upgraded to Class J. I was lucky to be upgraded to this seat which was used by JAS as first class on international routes. Movement of the seat was electric and was a very comfortable ride. This aircraft was in a 3 class configuration, but tickets sold in only 2 classes. This aircraft was first flown on 20.08.98 and was delivered to JAS on 02.09.98. c/n. 27641. JAS has since been incorporated into the JAL group.
