I can't believe how lucky I was to be in position for this shot. It becomes more special with each turn of events in the world of Delta. Update: The MD11 is the ill-fated N813DE which crashed and was destroyed in NRT as Fedex N526FE. Words can't discribe how much more personal this is to me now. N813DE was quite literally the plane that allowed me to meet two individuals who would become some of my best friends. Later, all three of us would get the shot you're looking at now.
