Wreck of the only four-engined aircraft ever built in Louisiana: the Monsted-Vincent MV-1 Starflight. Only one built. Note the unusual engine arrangement for this 1948 built aircraft: four 85hp Continental C-85 engines driving pusher-propellers, mounted on a high wing. The aircraft was blown over by hurricane Andrew in August 1992. The museum was closed afterwards as it too was devastated. It took me 11 years to find any reference on this A/C!
