RCH232 - January 28th, 1304L - Maybe for the last time a KC-10 departed from Ramstein AFB. The final mission of the KC-10 Extenders took place from an Air Base in Saudi Arabia in October 2023 already - from September 2024 the type will be completely retired from the USAF service and replaced by the more modern KC-46 Pegasus. Glad that the weather could not had been better for my first but also maybe my last encounter with the Type . #farewellkc10 [1920px]
