A unique Il-76MF cargo plane took off from Tuzel Airport today. (Tashkent-Vostochny). On this day, December 27, 2023, Tashkent said goodbye to the unique Il-76MF aircraft. This aircraft differed from other Il-76 modifications by an elongated fuselage (by 6.6 meters). There are three of them in total(!) IL-76MF. One IL-76MF was sold to Jordan, and the second to Egypt. Now both planes (SU-BTX and SU-BTY) are flying as part of the Egyptian Air Force (only SU-BTY is actively flying). The hero of today used to fly with registrations such as: UK76900; IS76900; RA 76900 and just 76900 without letters. Now he has a TL-ART registration (this is a transfer registration for the transfer of the aircraft to a new owner, to Africa). Words cannot describe the emotions that the spotters experienced today during the departure of this legendary aircraft. At parting, the plane flapped its wings and flew off to Osh. 1920px.
