To celebrate the Italian Air Force 100th Anniversary, the tails of the Frecce Tricolori planes were repainted with the crests of the squadrons displayed on the Italian Air Force coat of arms: 10th Squadriglia Farman, 91st Squadriglia da Caccia, 10th Squadriglia da Bombardamento Caproni and 87th Squadriglia Aeroplani La Serenissima.
