On display at the Luftwaffenmuseum. This Starfighter carries the emblem of Jagdbombergeschwader 34 (JaboG 34) based at Memmingen, which operated the F-104G from July 1964 to Oct. 1987. The aircraft rotated between this wing and JaboG 33 at Büchel AB in the 1960s. It survived an engine flameout on 26 Feb 1970 followed by a safe landing. The F-104G ended its service as an instructional airframe with TechnGrp 11 (LwVorsRegt 1) at Erding AB till struck off charge in 1987.
