The P-51 Mustang was captured by the Chinese People's Liberation Army during the Liberation War. It is the main fighter of the first flight squadron of the Chinese Civil Air Force. On October 1, 1949, the aircraft participated in the military parade of the founding ceremony and was inspected by party and state leaders as the lead aircraft. In 1959, it was transferred to the Military Museum by the Chinese People's Liberation Army Air Force. The Mustang P-51 is one of the few U.S.-made weapons in China
