The J-8 (Chinese codename: J-8, English: Shenyang J-8 or F-8, NATO codename: Finback) fighter is a twin-engine high-altitude high-speed interceptor fighter designed and developed by China in the 60s of the 20th century.?This type of aircraft has a crew of 1 person, a length of 19.25 meters (excluding airspeed tubes), a wingspan of 9.34 meters, a height of 5.41 meters, a practical ceiling of 20,800 meters, a maximum level flight speed of 2,693 kilometers per hour, a maximum range of 2,240 kilometers, equipped with 2 23mm cannons, and an underwing pylon, which can hang the "Thunderbolt-2" air-to-air missiles and rocket launchers. Development began at the end of 1966 and the first flight was successful on July 5, 1969.
