Notes:

One of my personal highlights of AirVenture 2023 was this rare 1964 Hispano HA-200 which I have never seen before at Oshkosh. The Hispano HA-200 Saeta is a Spanish twin-seat jet advanced trainer, designed and produced by Hispano Aviación. It was the first Spanish aircraft to use jet propulsion and was largely designed by German aircraft designer, Willy Messerschmitt. The HA-200 re-used a portion of the earlier piston-powered HA-100 Triana. The first prototype flew in 1955, but it was not until 1962 that the first production aircraft was flown. The HA-200 was used by the Spanish Air Force for multiple decades and was also exported to other countries. In the 1980s, the more capable CASA C-101 was introduced, succeeding the older HA-200 in both trainer and light attack roles. Always nice seeing these lesser known types preserved!
