Dornier Do-328 Jet? Nope! This is the Lockheed Martin X-55 Advanced Composite Cargo Aircraft (ACCA), also known as 'Carbon Comet', an experimental twinjet transport aircraft which was intended to demonstrate new air cargo-carrier capabilities using advanced composite materials. A fully functional Fairchild Dornier Do-328 Jet was butchered for the forthcoming X-55A ACCA, which is now preserved at the Joe Davies Heritage Airpark. (1920px)
