[Not an April Fools’ Day joke!] This aircraft was one of the aircraft which flew displays over Lake Centenary – a Free Entry display this time. This aircraft was built as 44-13016 in July 1945, and became RAAF Serial A68-674. She was ‘Struck Off Charge’ (SOC) by the RAAF in Dec 1948. [Robert Borrius Broek of Jetflights Wanaka sold P-51D-20NT ZK-SAS to Doug Hamilton of Wangaratta Victoria in 2022.]
