This 30-year-old bird previously flew for American Airlines in their classic livery as N76202, and is now living a new life as part of a fleet of diminishing MD-80s and 90's around the world. However, the group is not quite as rare as the DC-9 (an older version of this aircraft), which currently has <30 active worldwide, & at least 11 of these in operation for Aeronaves TSM in Mexico.
